Folkbase is free for the entire early-access beta — no card, no trial clock. Here's how pricing is shaping up for after that, and what stays free no matter what.

Before you ask

A few honest answers

Will I get charged automatically when the beta ends?
No. Free accounts stay free unless you actively choose to upgrade. Nothing is billed without you starting a checkout yourself.
What happens to my data if I don't upgrade?
Nothing changes. Export has always been free on every plan, and your data lives in your own Google Drive no matter what you pay — Folkbase never holds it hostage.
Can I cancel or change plans later?
Yes — once billing is live, you'll manage or cancel your plan anytime from a self-serve billing portal, no email required.
When will pricing actually be final?
I haven't set dollar amounts yet — getting the beta right comes first. This page will update with real numbers before billing turns on, and nothing changes for existing beta users without notice.
